【作者简介】文韬，中央美术学院人文学院美术史系讲师。
【内容提要】“国学”究竟是指中国固有学术还是中国学术，即近现代学术是否应当包括在内，是百余年来数次“国学”论争悬而未决的问题。民国时期有关“国学”究竟是“国故学”的缩写还是“中国学术”的简称的争持，透露出了这个问题的内在纠结。由于反对“整理国故”的声浪渐高，支持者中的新派学人强调“国学”的全称应为“国故学”，“故”字不可省略，以彰显其批判性和进步性；而反对把国学当作没有生命力的古董来看待的学者，则提出“国学”是“中国学术”的简称，不仅包括古代学术，还理应囊括现在与未来，“国学”应当是一个不断生长的开放概念。在反复的辩难中，“国故学”与“中国学术”的概念争持，实际上已经超出了时间的界定和价值的论断，因关乎具体的治学方法和学术理念，而出现互相渗透乃至颠倒的现象，对我们今天的“国学”讨论依旧极具启发。

2014年5月22日晚，应北京师范大学图书馆“专家讲座”之邀，复旦大学历史地理研究中心的葛剑雄教授做了题为“从天下到世界”的精彩讲座。葛教授带我们梳理了“天下观”和“中国”的概念的历史演变，回顾了中国认识世界的过程，探讨了中国人世界观念的变化历史，指出我们要认识到自己是这个世界的一员，把我们国家、民族以及个人放在一个世界的范围里面看问题，通过与世界的交流不断了解世界，真正实现从天下观到世界观的发展。
